HRA Junior Hunter Game Bird Qualifiers

Judge's Notes: Over the two days of qualifiers at the 2008 Ridgeback Rodeo, many new Ridgebacks earned their  JH-B designation, and the qualification rate hovered around 40%. Amoung the typical spectrum of entries ranging from family pets to field trial and conformation champions, several of the entrants were added to the list of new "firsts" - entrants included dogs with Canadian registrations, an AKC ILP dog from Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, a registered "Ridgelessback", and a foreign bred dog from eastern-block working stock. Overall, a very interesting cross-section of the breed, with a decidedly international contribution.

Qualified dogs are now eligible to Trial for game birds for HRA hunting titles.
